[WEEK 6] Case Study- Lou (Pixar)

“Lou”, is a Pixar short made released in 2017, directed by Dave Mullins.

This is a good case study as it contains elements that, at this point in time,  are particularly relevant to my  work.

  • There is an interesting concept being visualised, and executed well.

  • Strong story beats

    • Sets up the setting/concept simply and clearly

    • The three-act structure is felt WHILE also showing character development.

  • There is a ‘dynamic’ fight scene.
