Monday (Theory): The morning lecture was cancelled. At the tutorial time, we were given time to either review each other’s annotations or continue working on our personal annotations. I took this time to do the former as I have been neglecting to update my annotations so far. Ashley, the TA, gave feedback on the current one I am working on and helped me understand how to work on the different sections more clearly.
[Feedback is:]
Try to separate the content of the sections in the annotation since they overlap/are similar somewhat.
Wednesday (Studio): I presented my pitch to the class today. The reception was good and people gave feedback on my work. I personally think it is great that people got an idea on what kind of vision I have with my work. Hossein understood how I wanted to impart a feeling with my work, and others presented queries about the workload and the workflow.
Later in the class in the afternoon, I got the opportunity to have a one-on-one feedback with Lesley about my work. It has been a while(?) since I last talked with Lesley so I am kind of excited to show my work since I improved a lot since then.
Update: It was great to hear that Lesley kind of understood what I wanted to do with my story and characters and how it would develop. It was especially great that Lesley understood what kind of difficulty I faced in developing the actual character of my character, so all the feedback given was super helpful. I am feeling motivated to further my work now.
[FEEDBACK]
I was tasked to finish storyboards by next week, and to do another version of my outline boards to see if it tells the story better now compared to its first version.
